Every year, as part of the Audubon Adventures School Film Program, a naturalist visits ten different schools in the Mobile/Baldwin County area (public and private) to present and narrate a film. This helps young people become conservation conscious and helps develop an environmental stewardship ethic. This activity is sponsored by local corporations. A naturalist visits for an entire week each year and presents one film in the morning and one film in the afternoon at the various schools. Additionally, during the week, a film is shown one evening in Fairhope and one evening in Mobile. A different wildlife film program is offered every year. The next program is scheduled for the last week of January 2004. Remember to check the calendar for more details! |
